How Rezonate handles your information with care, what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1 · Overview
Welcome to Rezonate (the "App") of Rezonate Pte Ltd ("Rezonate", "we", "us" and/or "our"). This Site is operated by Rezonate and has been created to provide information about our company and our service, which includes real-time information search, creation, communication, messaging and archiving services and related systems, technologies and mobile applications (together with the Site, the "Service(s)") to our Service users and visitors ("you", "your").
This Privacy Policy sets forth Rezonate's policy with respect to information including personally identifiable data ("Personal Data") and other information that is collected from visitors to the Site and users of the Services. At the outset, we want to be clear that Rezonate is not in the business of selling your information. We consider our custodianship of your information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain ways in which we will use your Personal Data, as set forth in more detail in this policy.
2 · Information we collect
When you interact with us through the Services, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you. In certain circumstances we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below:
Your use: We will display your Personal Data on the Service (e.g. a profile page) according to the preferences you set in your account. Please consider carefully what information you disclose and your desired level of privacy, when you share information with others, it may be broadly and quickly disseminated.
Business transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our site of any change in ownership or uses of your Personal Data.
Related companies: We may also share your Personal Data with our related companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Consultants and similar third parties: We sometimes hire other companies to perform business-related functions such as mailing information, hosting servers, providing data-center services, maintaining databases and processing payments. They receive only the information needed to perform their specific function and are authorized to use it only as necessary to provide services to us.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Rezonate or third parties, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
3 · How we use your data
Rezonate uses the Personal Data and other information you provide in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data for a certain reason, we may use it in connection with that reason, for instance, if you contact us by email, we use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem. If you provide Personal Data to obtain access to the Services, we use it to provide that access and to monitor your use.
Rezonate and its subsidiaries and affiliates may also use your Personal Data and other non-identifiable information to help us improve the content and functionality of the Services, to better understand our users, and to send you tips about using Rezonate or news about new features. Any email we send to you, other than those necessary to operate the service, will include a means to opt out of receiving similar email in future, and you can adjust your preferences for email communication.
4 · Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar browser storage only as described below. Optional services are disabled until you make a choice in our cookie banner. You can reject them without losing access to the website, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the link in the footer.
Necessary storage
We store a first-party rz_consent value for up to six months to remember your preferences and the version of this notice you accepted. It contains the selected categories and a timestamp, not your name, email address or other contact details. Security and delivery providers may also use strictly necessary technologies to serve and protect the website.
Analytics — optional
With your permission, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregated website use, including pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, and interactions with calls to action. Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<container-id> first-party cookies, which have a default expiration of two years. We disable Google advertising signals and advertising personalization. Google Analytics is not requested before you enable Analytics.
HubSpot forms — optional
With your permission, HubSpot provides our demo and contact forms. When enabled or when you choose to enable a form, HubSpot may process page, device, IP address, submission and online-identifier data and may set cookies such as hubspotutk and __hstc (up to six months), __hssc (30 minutes), and __hssrc (the browser session). HubSpot is not requested before you enable Forms.
Changing your choice
Rejecting or withdrawing an optional category prevents that service from loading on subsequent page views and removes its accessible first-party cookies where technically possible. Your browser settings can also delete existing storage. We may ask for consent again if this notice or the services we use materially change.
5 · Information collected for our clients
Rezonate collects information under the direction of its clients and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Data it processes. If you are a customer of one of our clients and no longer wish to be contacted by them, please contact that client directly. An individual who seeks to access, correct, amend or delete inaccurate data should direct their query to the Rezonate client (the data controller). If the client requests Rezonate to remove the data, we will respond within 30 days. We will retain Personal Data we process on behalf of our clients for as long as needed to provide services to that client, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
6 · Business users
If your company has a business account for the Services, our agreement with your company may contain additional terms relating to our use and disclosure of data, including Personal Data. Your company's administrator may have certain rights to access your information in connection with the Services and to set your company's policies regarding your use. Please refer to your company administrator if you have questions regarding any of the foregoing.
7 · Children
As a Service directed to adult business users, Rezonate does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 13. Children should not use the Service or submit any Personal Data through it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided Personal Data to Rezonate through the Services, please contact us and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
8 · Other services
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. The Services may contain links to or integrations with other websites and services not operated or controlled by Rezonate (the "Third Parties"). The policies and procedures described here do not apply to the Third Parties, and we do not endorse those parties or their products or services. Please contact those parties directly for information on their privacy policies.
9 · Data retention
We will retain your Personal Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your Personal Data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
10 · Testimonials
We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent, we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at hellogetrezonate.com.
11 · Security
Rezonate takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. When you enter sensitive information such as login credentials, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer (SSL) technology. We follow generally accepted standards to protect Personal Data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no electronic transmission or digital storage mechanism is ever fully secure or error-free, so you should take special care in deciding what information you share electronically in connection with the Service.
12 · Personal data that you provide
We collect Personal Data from you, such as your name, email address and company name, when you voluntarily provide it, for example when you contact us with inquiries, register for access to our Service, or use certain Services. We may also collect your payment card information if you decide to upgrade your plan. By providing us with Personal Data, you consent to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and you acknowledge it may be stored on the servers of Rezonate and other authorized parties located in any country. When you download and use our Services, we automatically collect information on the type of device you use, the operating system version, and the device identifier.
13 · Changes to this policy
The Services and our business may change from time to time, and it may be necessary for Rezonate to make changes to this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. However, if we make a change that has a material impact on your rights or on the way we collect or use your Personal Data, we will endeavor to provide notice (e.g. by email or by posting a notice on the Site) prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the Services after any changes indicates your agreement with the revised policy. Your access to and use of the Services is also subject to our Terms of Service.
